Valentines ideas WHATEVER your relationship status!

Nearly Valentine’s Day – if you are into that sort of thing. Whether you are coupled up or single this Valentines Day here are 3 ways to be loving to the person who matters most: YOURSELF!  Love is our highest energetic choice – here are 3 ways you can radiate some love in the right direction:

  1. IGNORE YOUR INBOX / social media feed. Just opt out of the whole thing. Read a book. Take a walk. See a friend. Watch a movie without double screening. Knit. Plant something. Go to the gym. Clean out your closet. Do a jigsaw. Go for a drink by the river. Book your next holiday. Call your Mum. There are a million other things to give your energy to
  2. EAT SOMETHING DELICIOUS. Tickle your own taste buds. You don’t need to go to a fancy overpriced restaurant on Valentines Day. Get a fantastic “picky bits” / Table Picnic of all your favourite morsels. Feel SPECIAL and SPOILED

  3. DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. We are all doing FAR too much of EVERYTHING these days. Our cavewomen ancestors would be gobsmacked at our perpetual productivity and consumption. We are not built to be “ON” all the time. We are meant to live in harmony with nature, to have seasons of blooming and of rest. To wind down with the sun. Modern life has disrupted these our natural rhythms. No wonder we are knackered all the time. The expectation of perpetual doing is culturally strong, and we are not actually built for it! You can show your psyche and physiology some respect and love by committing to DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Weird at first, but a great way to show yourself love
