Chris I am SO honoured my blogs are resonating, and we have a mutual HERO in Eckhart Tolle - he is AMAZING, he is coming to Auckland in November - make sure you try to go see him. I will see you there!

Hi Louise

Thanks again for your positive words of wisdom! I have recently (and to be honest often over the years) found myself worrying or fearful about what might happen (guessing what the outcome might be), and even if I am making a calculated and reasonably accurate guess I still spend time and energy being anxious about the outcome before it happens! If I am right with regards to the outcome, I could have focused on enjoying the moments more that lead up to the event (eg custody court date etc) rather than living all those moments in fear. I suppose this is a practice to keep working on as there are some things like court dates over custody arrangements, that are very stressful and require a lot of preparation which challenges my ability to choose faith over fear on a long and ongoing basis.
Regards
Michelle

Awesome article on stress and worry. Eckart Tolle would be impressed. I have constantly commented on the fact that none of the things I obsess / stress about in my corporate job ever happen - the bad things (which in reality seldom happen), tend to blindside you with no warning - and therefore I've never worried about them. Worrying never achieved anything is a mantra I try (sometimes successfully) to live by in my pretty stressful working environment. Your blogs help too - so thanks!
