Hi Kim – so good to be able to review how delegating and letting it go worked – FINE! We can get so scared of letting go of the reigns for a bit but in fact taking that brak and recharging is EXACTLY what we (and our businesses and families) REALLY need the most. Bravo! Lx

Good advice! I was a bit jaded on “return” (never really left as I run my own business from home!) but have recovered now and all is good again. The phone and emails continue here even on Christmas Day…so I went away and left the answerphone on for the first time in 13 years. Nothing could be that urgent on Christmas Day…Bliss. Still in holiday mode as I work from home and kids on holiday. I had to decide not to do all I normally do over Christmas and just let it go (and delegate). Worked fine. Ramping up now but only three things on “to do” list today. Bigger projects I want (don’t NEED) to do are coming on board progressively. Full noise when kids back. Meanwhile enjoying the sunshine, life and working from home. We look over the sea in Coromandel Peninsula so it’s like being at your bach all year round = comfortable old house but we love it! 🙂
